Unique design challenge:
As part of the County’s sustainability initiative, a rainwater collection system was installed. The rainwater collected through the system is used to irrigate the park. Any excess rainwater is directed to a drywell to recharge the groundwater aquifer. The design included sizing the collection gallery both irrigation and overflow volumes.
